Where We Drop You Off And Pick You Up
CLM arranges both drop-off and return collection at the main entrance, Hill Gate, the Winning Post, the Nursery and the Birdcage. Tell us which entrance or hospitality area you are using so we can plan the right arrival and agree your return meeting point before race day.
Your booking confirmation sets out where to meet and how to contact your chauffeur. We coordinate vehicle access with the race-day traffic plan and any required passes, and let you know if event controls require an adjusted collection point.
2026 Carnival note: VRC advises that The Nursery hospitality sites are not available on Lexus Melbourne Cup Day. This is separate from the Nursery area used as a landmark in transport directions. Your hospitality ticket and the current traffic plan determine the permitted approach and collection point. Check the VRC’s current Carnival access information.

Your Return Starts Before You Leave The Races
For a planned race-day return, our driver aims to be in position around two hours before your agreed pickup time. That preparation helps avoid the late rush of vehicles trying to enter Flemington just as guests are ready to leave. You have a collection plan and a driver preparing for your departure while you enjoy the day.
Before you head to the meeting point, contact your chauffeur on the supplied number to coordinate your collection. Can You Drive Directly To The Birdcage Or Nursery?
CLM arranges drop-off and pickup for guests attending these areas, as well as Hill Gate and the Winning Post, subject to the authorised vehicle approach. Send your hospitality details and any access passes so we can confirm the meeting point. VRC advises that The Nursery hospitality sites are not available on Melbourne Cup Day in 2026; a Nursery-area transport landmark does not mean access to a hospitality site.
Can We Stay For Entertainment Or Go To Dinner Afterwards?
Yes, include the later collection time, dinner address and any subsequent journey in your request. We will quote the complete plan. If your departure changes on the day, contact CLM to discuss the arrangements.
